Tipping is always welcomed and appreciated, but never expected. Think of it as the high end of a sliding scale, with my set rate firmly in the middle.
On the other end, I believe this work should be accessible to all, and I offer a limited number of discounted sessions. If you're in need of assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.

I have a super cushy salon-back hydraulic table to get you into a throne-like semi-reclined position.
Instead of a belly cut out , I use an arsenal of pillows to get you in a super comfy sidelying position which is not only safer (not all bellies are the same size and we don’t want to create intrauterine pressure or stress out the uterine ligaments connected to the sacrum), but this position also allows me to do some really fantastic work in your hips and shoulders. Not only do you get to lay in a comfy fetal position you also get some tips on ideal pillow set-up for your nighttime routine.
I can’t count the number of times clients ask me to come tuck them in at night!
-
Yes I do! I have advanced pregnancy massage training and know how to adapt your massage to any point in your pregnancy.
-
I like to think of most high risk conditions in pregnancy as cautions, not contraindications in regard to massage. I am trained in working with high risk conditions and I would be happy to talk to you to see if massage is right for you - please reach out on my contact page. I also recommend to speak with your Primary Care Provider. If I feel your situation is outside of my scope, I have referrals to share.

As soon as you’re ready to come in (or have me come to you)! In some traditions around the world, a new mama (and her baby!) are massaged daily for the first 40 days.
Whether you’re still feeling some aches and pains from pregnancy, need tending to from the athletic event that is birth, recovering from a cesarean, need to settle your nervous system (and catch up on zzz’s), or are feeling it from all the baby holding I got you.
-
Yes! It’s so sweet when mamas bring their little ones with them to their sessions. This window is short and can be a memorable experience to get to relax and be taken care of with baby by your side. If your baby needs to feed or just wants to snuggle we can continue the massage once they are situated. If possible, leave the car seat in the car and bring baby in with a lounger or other secure bedding for them to sleep on. If you need to use the car seat, shoot me a text before you leave and I will come out to meet you.
Alternatively, some clients will have another caregiver come with them to hang out with baby in the lobby or the room across the hall if it is available and bring baby in if they need to feed. Goose Creek trail is just behind the office if they want to go on a walk.

Regarding men, I do so on a case-by-case basis which is usually by referral, often when a client wants their husband to come see me too, or for reproductive or digestive health-focused Maya Abdominal Therapy (fertility being the most common way male clients find their way to me, often as part of a couple). I like to talk through what you're looking for ahead of time to make sure I'm the right fit for what you need.
I'm welcoming to LGBTQ+ folks and all gender expressions. My focus on women's health comes from my specialty in working with the female body, especially through the childbearing year, not from who I'll work with.

Vitalism is a lineage of herbalism that dates back to the Ancient Greeks, Ancient Egyptians and Unani Tibb in the Middle East, and more recently the Eclectics, the Physio-medicalists and the naturopaths in Europe and North America.
Vitalism believes everyone and everything has an innate vital force and symptoms come from that vitality trying to bring the body back into balance, or a suppression of that vitality.
We use herbs along with lifestyle modifications like food, drink, exercise, rest, hydrotherapy, fresh air, and emotional balancing to help support and unlock the body’s innate vitality. Herbs without lifestyle modifications usually can’t get to the root issue, it’s battling upstream.
In Vitalism, we learn not only “what an herb is good for” but also the plant’s energetics, its specific indications and what tissues it works on. We learn how to best extract and work with the constituents in the herb, which might vary depending on the intended outcome.
We also take time to learn the energetics of the person we are helping, and do a holistic health intake so we can connect the dots between the different systems of the body, which make up our whole.
We then take our herbal knowledge and try to find a match for the person in front of us. We formulate so herbs can synergize and assist each other, balance each other (like adding something warming if an herb is too cool, or bring in moistening qualities if an herb is too drying), or drive an herb to a certain area of the body.
In Vitalism, we don’t use heroic remedies when gentler remedies will do. We don’t just aim to detoxify without nourishing. We don’t just use herbs when lifestyle modifications need to be made, instead using the herbs to assist us through the process.

Yes I do, through the Practice Better platform.

The definition of an acute condition is having a sudden onset and generally lasting a short period of time, ranging from a few days to six months. This can include things like illness, infections, wound management, and surgery prep to name a few.
This does not include chronic illness, allergies, menstrual complaints, or other chronic conditions that have been brewing for an extended period of time.

Flower essences are made with a flower (considered to be the highest expression of the plant), infused into spring water by the power of the sun. This is diluted and preserved with brandy or apple cider vinegar and are diluted again. They contain no active constituents and are just the vibrational imprint of the flower (or mushroom) which is a gentle yet powerful remedy to help with emotional, mental or spiritual patterns when they are out of balance.
Certain remedies help certain conditions. For example, Mimulus can be helpful when someone is fearful and we can name that fear. Aspen might be a better choice when there is fear but it does not have a known source. Each flower has a different indication and can be used as simples or in formula to support someone in a more complex way.
I learned via, and am certified with, the Bach Flower Essences, developed by Dr. Edward Bach in the early to mid 20th century. You might be familiar with their Rescue Remedy product, a blend of 5 different essences. I also use Alaskan Essences to make custom blends for my clients.
They are safe to use for all ages and with any medical conditions. They can also be great to use with animals!
